I am a 31 year old Web Strategist based in Central Wisconsin. In 2001 I started Dynamic Digital Media, LLC a web development and online marketing company located in Wisconsin USA. My day to day activities consist of directing my team at DDM, analyzing, consulting, researching, blogging, tinkering with web technologies and spending time with my beautiful wife and daughter.

Corny as it may sound, my interest in creating with computers started in grade school when I was introduced to the Logo Turtle. Like most computer geeks in my generation, that interest was fueled by the allure of gaming pioneers such as Atari & Nintendo. Every new experience in front of a flickering Cathode Ray Tube increased my curiosity of: “how did they do that?”
I attended high school during the “Dawn of the Web”. In my junior and sophomore years I was first exposed to HTML while using the Mosaic web browser (later renamed to Netscape Navigator). I loaded up on the computer courses and spent nearly every day in front of a computer. If only I had the vision of Jerry Yang, David Filo or any of the other pioneers of the web at that time. Sigh.
My college day’s computer exposure continued at the same daily rate, but it wasn’t till after college that my thirst for a web career really started. In a spirit of keeping up with technology I acquired the A+ and i-Net+ certifications. Shortly after, all my years of computer tinkering paid off and I started working for a local ISP as lead web developer. Around that time I also began freelance work.
Over the next few years I made a point to keep up with the latest web technologies & trends. In addition to maintaining my own clients I also started teaching courses with New Horizons, the world’s largest independent IT training company. As the work load and client list increased I brought in some very talented designers and developers to help keep up with the demand.
In addition to directing my team and working on design & development projects, I am known to give the occasional web related seminar or training session. My experience has given me a strong sense of the link between business and technology and I welcome the opportunity to share what I have learned.
