Anti Spam Email Link Generator

Spam bots harvest email addresses from websites and cause general annoyance for website developers, hosts and website owners. There are many scripts available that try to hide your email address from spam bots while still making it easy for legitimate site visitors to contact you. The script included here is one of the better ones I have come across. It uses a random encryption key making it exceptionally difficult for spam bots to decipher.

To use: Simply fill in the form, hit the button then copy and paste the generated code into your HTML where you would like the email link to appear.

This tool was originally conceived and written by Tim Williams of The University of Arizona. The code to randomly generate a different encryption key each time the tool is used was written by Andrew Moulden of Site Engineering Ltd. Ross Killen of Celtic Productions Ltd has also created a PHP version to enable use of this technique in web applications.
