When consulting with clients or conducting training sessions pertaining to Flash, I regularly refer back to the following websites as excellent resources. I highly recommend these to anyone interested in flash no matter what their experience level:

www.gotoandlearn.com - Video tutorials of advanced Flash and related technologies by Lee Brimelow.
www.flashkit.com - A open source flash community where you can grab movies, fx, sound loops, etc. The site is a little heavy on ads, but a great resource none the less.
www.flashden.net - A professional flash community where you can purchase flash files for use in your projects for dirt cheap. This site is a great way to save time in your projects and also allows you the unique opportunity to view working Flash files and ActionScript created by true flash professionals. It may cost you a couple dollars, but it is well worth it!
www.theflashblog.com - Also by Lee Brimelow. Lee is currently a Platform Evangelist with Adobe and has been a recognized expert in flash for quite a few years. The information he posts on this blog is cutting edge and very valuable.
www.flashloaded.com - Another professional flash community with excellent flash files for use in your projects. Files here are top notch, even if some are overpriced.

  1. BestWebGallery (www.bestwebgallery.com)
    An inspirational gallery site created and managed by Nick La (Ndesign Studio). I find myself coming back to this gallery regularly.
  2. CSS Zen Garden (www.csszengarden.com)
    A popular gallery often mentioned by designers.
  3. Stylegala Gallery (www.stylegala.com/archive/)
    Reviews and a rating system give this gallery’s visitors a clear picture of the community opinion.
  4. CSS Vault (www.cssvault.com)
    In addition to a great gallery this site yields useful resources and a blog.
  5. CSS Beauty (www.cssbeauty.com)
    Click on ‘gallery’ in the top menu to view. Not as large of a collection as the others but still a good resource.
  6. Template Monster (www.templatemonster.com)
    Many of the templates on this site do a poor job of placing proper emphasis on the content and require modification. However, it is still a good site to get ideas and has some awesome flash templates!
